Waterlily-014 Medieval Type Dress

Description

The colour combination of this dress works very well.

The main part of the dress is made in a dark plum (reddish purple) crushed (panne) velvet and matched with silver grey velvet and a delicate embroidered satin.

The dress has a square neckline at the front, princess seams run down over the bust to the ground.

The front has adjustable corset style lacing trimmed with silver braid and plum satin ribbons.

The real feature of this gown is the stunning open lace up back, also trimmed with silver braid and plum satin ribbons.

The sleeves have satin gathered puffs at the top, a fitted middle section in the velvet and full circle lower sleeves also made in the satin. The edges have been finished with a pretty scalloped edge lace. made in a pretty corded lace and edged with ivory lace. There is braid trim around the elbow.

There is a short train at the back measuring 8cm (3").

This dress can be hand washed.

Unfortunately the exact colour of the plum velvet and the embroidered satin re not available but it may be possible to source out something similar or we could make this dress using other colour combinations too, just contact us for further information or with your suggestions.
