Description

The main part of the dress is made in lavender crushed (panne) velvet and complemented with a lavender crinkle shimmer fabric for the centre front panel and the lower sleeves.

The shimmer fabric shades from a darker lavender to a light gold colour with movement.

The dress has a square neckline at the front and back, both of which are gathered with elastic to give a ruffled look.

The upper sleeves are fitted to the elbow and the lower sleeves are full and trailing.

The sleeves have been finished with a rolled hem which gives it a pretty fluted look.

There are ribbon ties on the inside of the lower sleeves so they can be gathered up or worn down.

There is adjustable corset style lacing at the front and back with matching lavender satin ribbons.

There is a short train at the back measuring 8cm (3").

The length of the dress in the photographs is 152cm (60") from the back of the neck down to the ground.
