Anemone-012 Medieval Style Gown

Description

This stunning gown is made in black crushed (panne) velvet and complemented with a teal taffeta with diamond pin-tucks all over.

The bodice is fitted and has princess seams over the bust and down the back.

The centre front panel is made in the taffeta fabric and dips into a deep V at the front waistline.

Black braid is used to decorate the front bodice and neckline.

The back of the bodice has adjustable corset style lacing with black satin ribbons.

The upper sleeves are fitted to the elbows, and the lower sleeves made in the taffeta are full and trailing. They have been trimmed with black braid and they have drawstring ribbon ties on the inside so they can be worn gathered up or left down.

The skirt is huge, it is very full and has a train at the back. The skirt has been gathered into the waist seam. There is a panel of the contrasting fabric at the centre front.

This is a very beautiful dress that suits many figure types and can be made in other colours and fabrics too.
