Angelica-016 Medieval Dress

Description

The very classic medieval silhouette. It is made in a lavender (pale purplish blue) and pale grey crushed (panne) velvet.

The neckline is a wide scoop neck and it has a fitted bodice with princess seams over the bust and down the back.

The waist seam comes into a deep point at the centre front. The upper sleeves are fitted and the lower sleeves are very much of the medieval style being full and trailing. They have ribbon drawstring ties on the inside of the sleeves so they can be gathered up or worn down if desired.

Under these are fitted under-sleeves, made in silver grey velvet which have a peak or pointed cuff.

There is adjustable lacing at the back of bodice which has the contrasting coloured ribbon inserted.

If you prefer to have the ribbon the same colour as the main dress please let us know and we can change it.

The skirt is full and 'A' line in shape which drapes softly to the ground. There is a deep band around the hem of the dress made in the contrasting colour.

To finish the outfit is a belt made in the contrasting colour and worn tied to highlight the shaping of the waist seam.

This dress can be hand washed.
