Angelica-019 Medieval Dress

Description

This dress is made in a flat or matt stretch velvet. The neckline is a wide scoop neck and it has a fitted bodice with princess seams over the bust and down the back.

The waist seam comes into a deep point at the centre front.

The upper sleeves are fitted and the lower sleeves are very much of the medieval style being full and trailing. They have ribbon drawstring ties on the inside of the sleeves so they can be gathered up or worn down if desired.

Under these are fitted under-sleeves, made in the contrasting colour which have a pointed cuff.

There is adjustable lacing at the back of bodice which has the contrasting coloured ribbon inserted.

The skirt is full and 'A' line in shape which drapes softly to the ground.

There is a deep band around the hem of the dress also made in the contrasting colour.

To finish the outfit is a matching belt, it is worn tied to highlight the shaping of the waist seam.

This dress can be hand washed.
