Description

This was another of the outfits from our collection made for the Steamfae themed article in FAE magazine (www.faemagazine.com) with Hannah Titania.

This is a "One of a Kind" outfit but it would be possible to source similar fabrics should you desire.

As this outfit was made specially for the artist and model Hannah Titania, we decided to make shorts and breeches to go wear underneath rather than a long skirt. This is because Hannah had the most amazing knee high boots to wear with it and it gave the outfit a more fun and risqué look rather than the more demure look of a skirt.

The fabrics that have been used are a dark moss green embroidered taffeta and a traditional wool tweed with greens, browns and ivory checks.

The corset is a fully functioning boned corset and can be made to reduce your waist by 5cm - 7.5cm (2" - 3").

The front panels are made of a patchwork of fabrics and decorative trims all in the matching colour range. The main part of the corset is made in the tweed fabric. Each seam has been finished with faux leather straps with blacked brass rivets. The hem and neckline has been trimmed with a light brown pleated velvet ribbon. The back closure has eyelets all the way down and ivory ribbons inserted for the lacing.

There is a modesty panel down the back.

The back bustle skirt is made in the same fabrics with the taffeta for the lining (which is visible) and for the three tiers, a gathered ruffle in the tweed and pleated ribbon trims off each tier. The skirt attached at the waist with ribbon ties.

The cropped jacket is fully lined, made in the tweed and it has faux leather lapels and cuffs. The sleeves are straight to the wrist and lightly puffed at the sleeve head. The lapels of the collars and the cuffs have a blacked brass rivet to finish off. The closure at the front are two buckles and snap fasteners so you can choose to open either with the buckle or snaps.

Short shorts shown here are made in brown faux leather and trimmed with ruffled lace and braid. The breeches are made in the tweed wool and come down to above the knee in length. They have a smooth waist finished as not to add bulk. There is a zip down the centre back.

The cuffs have a snap fastener closure and they have been trimmed with the velvet pleated ribbon.

As mentioned previously this was a specially commissioned outfit and was made to the customers specifics. Should you be interested in any part of this outfit or the whole outfit please contact us. We will be happy to work with you make you your own "One of a Kind" piece.
