Lily-017 Ivory Medieval Wedding Dress

Description

This beautiful gown is made in a rich, luscious ivory crushed velvet and complemented with ivory corded lace and duchess satin.

The dress has a high back and sits close to the neck at the shoulders and then opens up to a wide straight front neckline. There are princess seams running vertically down over the bust to the ground - the same on the back. The dress has a lace centre front panel and under-sleeves, with the main part of the dress made in ivory crushed velvet, this fabric is a richer quality than panne velvet.

The lace panel has been backed with a pale ivory duchess satin which has a matt finish rather than a shiny one. The upper sleeves are fitted with the lower sleeves being very full and double layered with the velvet and lace. There are ribbon ties on the inside of the sleeve so that they can be worn gathered up or worn down for a very dramatic look.

There is lacing on both the front and back of the dress which can be adjusted to fit the figure. The lacing is trimmed with ivory decorative braid trim and satin ribbons. Both the front neckline and front hemline has been finished with an edge lace and braid trim. There is a short train to the back measuring 8cm (3").

This dress has been photographed with a light weight net petticoat underneath which does not come with the dress but can be purchased separately from us if you wanted. The length of the dress in the photographs is 152cm (60") from the back of the neck down to the ground.

This dress can be made with variations to the sleeves and neckline as well as a different colour lace or a change of fabric to go with the ivory velvet. Please contact us with any questions or requests.
