Lily-024 Medieval Inspired Dress with Sleeves

Description

This elegant gown is shown here made in dark green or dark red velvet and complemented with a buttermilk (cream with a tiny tinge of peach) embroidered taffeta.

The main part of the dress made in panne crushed velvet and is complemented with taffeta for the centre front panel and lower sleeve lining.

The dress has a high back and sits close to the neck at the shoulders and then opens up to a wide straight front neckline. There are princess seams running vertically down over the bust to the ground - the same on the back There is adjustable lacing at the front and back of the dress, this can be used to pull the dress a little tighter or to let it out a little.

The neckline and the front lacing has been trimmed with ivory braid and satin ribbons.

The upper sleeves are fitted the middle of the upper arm and the lower sleeves are very full and trailing and lined in the contrasting colour.

There is a short train at the back measuring 8cm (3").

The length of the dress in the photographs is 152cm (60") from the back of the neck down to the ground.

This dress can be dry cleaned for best results or the velvet can be spot washed.

This dress is available made with other colours to match the taffeta such as burgundy (dark red) shown in some of the photographs.
