Lily-027 Medieval Gown in Gold and Turquoise

Description

This dress is made in antique gold crushed (panne) velvet and complemented with a pale turquoise two tone embroidered taffeta. The taffeta has the most beautiful embroidered scrolls and swirls all over.

The dress has a high back and sits close to the neck at the shoulders and then opens up to a wide slightly sweetheart neckline.

The main part of the gown is made in gold velvet and the centre front panel and lower sleeves are made in the taffeta. There are princess seams running vertically down over the bust to the ground - the same on the back.

There is adjustable lacing at the front and back of the dress, this can be used to pull the dress a little tighter or to let it out a little.

The neckline and the front lacing has been trimmed with gold braid (not metallic) and satin ribbons.

The upper sleeves are fitted to the elbow and the lower sleeves are very full and trailing. There are ribbon ties on the inside of the sleeves so that they can be gathered up or worn down. The sleeve edge has been trimmed with the gold braid which has been sew around the elbow as well.

There is a short train at the back measuring 8cm (3").

This dress is to be dry cleaned.
