Angelica-014 Medieval Dress

Description

The very classic medieval silhouette. It is made in black crushed (panne) velvet and complemented with a dark blue crinkle shimmer fabric.

The neckline is a wide scoop and it has a fitted bodice with princess seams over the bust and down the back.

The waist seam comes into a deep point at the centre front.

The upper sleeves are fitted and the lower sleeves are very much of the medieval style being full and trailing and made in the blue shimmer fabric. They have ribbon drawstring ties on the inside of the sleeves so they can be gathered up or worn down if desired. The edges have a rolled hem which give it a fluted edge.

There is adjustable corset style lacing at the back of bodice.

The skirt is full and 'A' line in shape which drapes softly to the ground.

There is a deep band around the hem of the dress made in the contrasting blue fabric.

To finish the outfit is a belt made in the contrasting colour and worn tied to highlight the shaping of the waist seam.

This dress can be hand washed.

This dress can be made in a wide range of velvet colours and the shimmer is available in 5 colours.
