Angelica-013 Medieval Dress

Description

This dress is made in a rich teal (dark turquoise) crushed velvet and complemented with antique gold crushed (panne) velvet.

The neckline is a wide scoop neck and it has a fitted bodice with princess seams over the bust and down the back. The waist seam comes into a deep point at the centre front.

The upper sleeves are fitted and the lower sleeves are full and trailing. They have ribbon drawstring ties on the inside of the sleeves to gather the sleeves up or they can be worn down.

There are fitted under-sleeves, made in gold velvet which have a peak or pointed cuff. The upper arm has been decorated with a band pale gold jacquard ribbon. There is adjustable lacing at the back of bodice which has the contrasting coloured ribbon inserted.

The skirt is full and 'A' lined, and there is a panel of gold velvet at the centre front.

To finish the outfit is a belt, made in the jacquard ribbon and worn tied to highlight the shaping of the waist seam. The length of the dress in the photographs is 152cm (60") from the back of the neck down to the ground.
