Jasmine-012 Faery (fairy) Princess Dress in Ivory and Pink

Description

This was one of the outfits from our collection made for the Steamfae themed article in FAE magazine (www.faemagazine.com) with Hannah Titania.

Our Jasmine gown is a real fairytale princess gown.

Shown here made in a dusky almost ice pink rich crushed velvet and complemented with ivory accents. The velvet is incredibly soft and silky. The lower sleeves and skirt have been made in pale ivory chiffon.

The outfit consists of the main gown and a separate under skirt and sleeves.

The main gown is made in pink velvet, the front bodice has been made of a beautiful patchwork of ivory and gold embroidered fabrics and embellished with matching braids and trims. The bodice is fitted and fully boned and lined. There are princess seams going over the bust to the waist and the same on the back. The waistline meets at the centre front in a deep V shape.

There is lacing at the back of the bodice, this lacing is functional and can be used to adjust the fit of the gown. The straps are 3cm wide and are made of the gathered velvet. There is a cluster of roses made in the organza fabric in gold tones which finishes off the front neckline.

The attached skirt to the bodice is very full and lined with the ivory corded lace. It has been gathered into the bodice waist seam. The front is open to reveal the under skirt, which is made entirely of the contrasting fabric. The front opening is trimmed with ivory braid and lace. The skirt hem has been cinched up and finished with a delicate gold organza rose. The front of the hem is mid knee length and tapers down to the centre back so that it just skims the floor.

The separate sleeves are fitted around the middle of the upper arm and made in the ivory embroidered dupion, the top has a dainty puff sleeve made in the velvet and ivory lace trims the top edge. Braids and trims decorate the fitted sleeve. The lower sleeves are very full, double layer and trailing. They are made in the contrasting chiffon.

The underskirt has a flat waistband with the skirt pleated into it and the back has an elastic waist. The skirt is made in triple layers of chiffon to ensure that it is not transparent. The length of the gown in the photographs is 152cm (60") from the back of the neck down to the ground.

This 3 piece gown can be made in a wide range of velvet colours and the contrasting fabric used for the skirt and lower sleeves can be changed to different sort should you wish. Please bare in mind that the trims tend to only available in white, black and ivory.
